Our Beginnings.

We are all Filipinos or have our roots in the Philippines and the cantons of Geneva and Vaud have become the centers of our volunteer activities.

What we do.

We have come from the different sectors in the Swiss society as evidenced during the ratification of the statutes. There are those who work for International companies, those who work for the various International Organizations in the UN family, those who work for the Permanent Missions of different countries, some are engaged in their own business, some are housewives who have married Swiss nationals as well as other nationalities, there are those who are connected with the Swiss government, the list can go on and on.

What we want to achieve.

We simply just want to serve the Filipino communities in Geneva and Lausanne primarily by coordinating the many activities of the various Filipino organizations/associations. The Guimaras project is an example. It is expected of the officers of the Ugnayang Bayan to initiate programs and activities to realize the objectives of the UB.
